Outreach

 

The work of Deendayal Bahuuddeshiya Prasarak Mandal (DBPM) is mainly focused towards

(i) Integral development and upliftment of Paradhi community.

(ii) Improving the condition of the marginal farmers and the suicide-affected families.

in Yavatmal and Wardha districts.

The volunteers of DBPM have reached

  • more than 100 hamlets (Paradhi Beda) located in remote areas of Yavatmal district where Paradhi families reside and

  • more than 60 villages to understand and help in improving the plight of farmers.

Majority of these hamlets/villages fall in Pandharkawada (Kelapur), Maregaon & Ralegaon blocks in the Yavatmal district.

After surveying 60 villages from 6 clusters, about 1000 needy families were listed that depend only upon farming. DBPM has been in regular contact with these families.
