Aarogya Rakshak (Village level health workers)

Keshav Aarogya Rakshak Yojana (Village level health worker) covers 30 hamlets of Paradhis. Village level health worker is a voluntary service. Anybody from the village willing to serve for other villagers can join this activity. Today 30 Paradhi youth are trained to dispense first aid and other useful medicines looking to the primary symptoms of the patient. Complicated / Serious cases are directed to the experts nearby. The training of these youth contains both, clinical as well as behavioral components. The community known for its quarrels and confrontations is now seen organized and interacting calm n quietly with each other. Aarogya Rakshak Yojana has been a medium of change for this community.
